Cole Pluck has established himself as a potent goal scorer for the Knights hockey program. The seven-year forward has been with the program since the sixth grade. Over the years as Pluck has matured so did his game. This year, he’s hit a milestone no other North Penn forward has done since former Knights forward, and captain, Alex Peterson.
Cole demonstrated excellent skills and ability at an early age, these photos are from a game against the Neshaminy Redskins seven years ago during the 2018 – 19 season.
Currently standing at fifty-five points and counting between suburban high school hockey league play, and inter-county cross-over games, (not including non-league games) Pluck has amassed an eye-popping fifty-five points with 22 goals, and 33 assists. Pluck has reached a milestone no other player has in almost a decade. In the 2015-16 season, former player and eventual Division One college graduate, Alex Peterson amassed sixty points on 30 goals and 30 assists. Plucks fifty-five and counting puts him in second place all-time behind Alex for SHSHL regular-season scoring production.
Pluck broke the 100-point mark on February 5th against Council Rock South with a goal and two assists to hit 101 points. This season the Knights have excelled, currently sitting atop of the SHSHL National Division in first place, North Penn has plans for post-season play and eventually the Flyers Cup Tournament.
Congratulations, Cole, and good luck!
