
Terrence Wallin grew up in Yardley Pennsylvania. He went to and played for the LaSalle Explorers high school hockey team in his freshman, and sophomore years, 2007, and 2008. He was a standout forward who played a speedy, skilled game. In his 2008 season the Explorers won the Class AAA Flyers Cup, and Pennsylvania State Championship. After that season, Wallin, Moved on to “The Gunnery” prep school in Lebanon PA, where he played from 2009 to 2011 winning three New England Prep School Hockey Conference (NEPSHC) West Championships. In his senior year Terrence served as team captain for the Highlanders and totaled 111 points (38g, 73a) in 80 games.
Terrence moved onto college playing division one for UMass-Lowell. In his first season he was lone freshman to appear in all 38 games. he totaled 25 points on eight goals and 17 assists … Recorded a plus-17 rating and 29 penalty minutes … Scored three points (1g, 2a) in his collegiate debut at Minnesota State (10/14/11) Terrence scored a goal and assist in the 7-1 win over Boston University (11/5/11) … Tallied two assists in the 5-3 win at New Hampshire (12/3) … Scored a goal in the loss to Union at the NCAA East Region Final (3/24) … Named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week three times: Oct. 17 (1g, 2a, +3), Dec. 5 (1g, 2a, +3) and Jan. 30 (1g, 3a, +3). In his second season he played in 34 games with 2g-5a-7pts… Highlights include goals in a 3-1 win over Princeton and a 6-3 win at Vermont, as a sophomore Riverhawk, they won the Hockey East Championship. In 2013-14, his junior year, he finished the year with 8 points in 31 games (2g,6a)… Maintained a four game point streak during the month of January…Hit a game winner against BU…Finished the year with a +6 rating and went back-to-back winning their second Hockey East Championship consecutively. In his senior year, Terrence appeared in 32 games while tallying nine points (3g,6a) … Scored the game-winning goal in a 7-1 win over UMass on Feb. 14.
In 2015 Terrence signed his first pro contract joining the Peoria Rivermen of the SPHL making his pro debut 11/3 at Mississippi. He posted his first pro point, an assist, 11/20 vs Louisiana…Scored first pro goal as part of 2-point effort 11/27 vs Macon…Netted 2 goals and assisted on another 1/2 vs Huntsville…Notched first career hat trick 11/9 at Fayetteville, adding two assists in 7-3 Peoria win…Had appoint or more in 6 straight games from 1/2-1/16
Wallin played five combined seasons in the SPHL, ECHL, and finally the AHL before retiring and moving into a coaching role. He began his coaching career as an assistant before moving into head coaching responsibility with the ECHL Maine Mariners. In 2025 he signed with the lehigh Valley Phantoms, in the Philadelphia Flyers organization, as an assistant coach.
