The first annual Pennsylvania State High School Regional Hockey Tournament will be held March 30 through April 9 at the Face-off Circle rink in Warminster, the competition is being sponsored by the Central Bucks-Mont Glaciers Hockey Club.

All of the participating teams will play a three-game round-robin with the two teams with the best records qualifying for a best-of-three championship series. The winner then will advance to the Pennsylvania State High School Championships at State College April 14-15.

The tourney entrants will come from the three major high school hockey leagues in the Greater Philadelphia area. Participating teams are: Archbishop Carroll, Chestnut Hill Academy, and Haverford High School (all division winners in the Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League), Abington and William Tennent (conference champions from the Suburban Hockey League) and Bishop Egan from the Lower Bucks County Scholastic Hockey League.
