Player of the Year
For their great individual accomplishments and tremendous value to their teams, the Bucks County Courier Times has selected a Player of the Year for each Winter Sport.
Council Rock’s Roman Bussetti enjoyed a great year and was named Ice Hockey Player of the Year. The senior forward was second in scoring for the Indians during regular season action and was the highest scorer in the postseason and the Flyers Cup Tournament. Roman is a three-year player who helped in winning the Division title, the SHSHL league championship, the Class AAA Flyers Cup, and the Pennsylvania Cup State Championship in 1991. He was also named SHSHL MVP, Flyers Cup MVP, and PA Cup MVP.
