Cardinal O’Hara Lions three-sport varsity letterman, B.J. Hogan, excels in every sport he plays. Whatever the game, it doesn’t matter; he is a star. Playing defensive back for the football team, Hogan made AP Big School All-State First Team. Hogan also plays various positions for the baseball team and hit nearly .400 at the plate. But it isn’t just those sports, he was the leading scorer in the Eastern League last year with 19 goals and 21 assists. He’s a good skater with strong moves around the net and is one of the hardest hitters in the area. This season, the junior forward scored 18 goals and had 15 assists in 18 games. He provided a dominating presence near the goal and was selected MVP of the Eastern League Division AAA, earning himself the Daily Times Player of the Year award.
