Central Bucks South hockey team recognized for state title
Central Bucks South High School’s ice hockey team that won the PIAA Class AA state championship received citations for its outstanding season from the state House of Representatives. Rep. Kathy Watson hosted some of the players on a visit to the capitol building in Harrisburg, and the team also was recognized in the state senate by Sen. Stewart Greenleaf. The Titans claimed a 5-2 win over Bishop Canevin for the Pennsylvania state championship just one week after winning the Flyers Cup. It is the first state ice hockey championship for Central Bucks South.
